Sirrius antenna on a vert

Hey guys, my old Kenwwod cd deck is about to die and I was looking at the new ones and the local place has a deal going on that when I buy the antenna for Sirrius the "box" is free. Now that is cool and all but the guy at the car stereo place told me the antenna has to be exposed and I would need to mount it on my deck lid! Umm not going to mount anything on my car. Anybody found a good way to do this? If there isn't then i am not going to get it. Thanks!

I have heard that a few people have put them on the dash and inside the trunk. They said that they have got great reception, I have head that it depends on your location (on the earth). Sorry I can't help more. It looks like it would be an experiment I don't know if you could try it and return it later. But non-the-less I wouldn't mount it on my decklid either. Good Luck
