Do they have an amp mounted in the car........or not? I have my eye on a 93 factory CD player to replace the tape player in my 92 (hence the yellow lettering) but was wondering if I would just get good sound from the head unit or it come from the factory also with an amp? Any other help in locating a factory 91-92 CD player for a Z-28 would also be helpful.

Im pretty sure unless its a monsoon system or bose system, The amp is internal, built into the Stereo itself. Hope that helps.
