I have an 86 TA. I bought it without the factory head unit. I bought a Pioneer 3500, and wired it up to the crappy kenwoods in the panels.
My question is.

I have 2 connectors at the rear speaker locations. Also theres a facotry amp in the car, with a switch and gain control on the dash.

How was the speakers set up back there, the dude that had the car b4 me, had place 6x9s on piece of plexi and mounted it that big square spot. What kinda of speakers were there?
What sound option was this?

and for *** sakes, Can I get some ideas on speakers for the car.

fronts, and rears( 6x9s, components whatever)
