Can I get a mobile LCD with VGA input?

I found one but it was like 13", I don't want one that large and I don't want to use a laptop screen.

Take a look at http://www.earthlcd.com

They should have something like you're looking for.

and if you dont find one, there are ALOT of vid cards that can support TV video out..... most laptops also have it... and ive seen a few on thoes "all in one" motherboards too..

what is it exactly that you are trying to accomplish?

i remember back in 2000 i made a MP3 player for my car... i used a regular computer in a tiny form factor, wired it in, but i couldnt afford a LCD screen, so when i wrote the MP3 software (DOS based), i just had the serial port put output out and used a tiny LCD dot matrix display...

Thanks for the link, GndPrx! Will check out.

MrDude_1, yeah I know there are a lot of cards with TV out, I have one... but the quality on these setups is lacking. I'd like to get a pure VGA signal if at all possible. It will be used for an in-car PC / mp3 player, I need to be able to see a video output, not just a dot matrix display.

Thanks

yea... i gotcha...

the dot matrix thing was only a compermise for me... back then there were no real cheap lcd screens.... atleast not ones that i could afford the rest of the parts to run..

anyhoo, good luck... and when you get your screen, where are you gonna put it??
