alright i need some guidance from you car audio guru'si want to buy a decent amp but i only got $150 ...i know i wont get a whole lot of power but i just want to get the besr for my money....im look to power one decent 12" and eventually my 6x9's instead so it has to be 2-channel....i was looking at some of the lower MTX stuff on ebay...for 160 i can get the 404 but its 4 channels and i really dun need 4.....and suggestions...opinions?,.....i really dun wanna go much over at all....and before you say save up and buy something really nice.....im only 16.....its hard to save up money making minimum wage...and its not like i dun need gas money.....likewise....my car needs many other things...i just want some bass right now though...i almost bought a 1200 watt profile....then a 1600 watt power acoustic....then i realized it would have been real stupid not only buying a lower brand but buying a lower brand without consulting the audiophiles here on thirdgen

 

I ran 12 12's with a fosgate 120a2 for 4 years or so, sounded good.. I oculd have used more power, but with a good box it really thumped.

I thought I would be kinda screwed when I went to upgrade, but it worked out nice.

I bridged that fosgate 120a2 to run one 12", and then bought a inexpensive kenwood 400 watter, and bridged that to the other..

BTW i scored on the kenwood 400 watter, its a newer one, they had $180 on it at a pawn shop, out the door it went for $130

now it sounds twice as good with one amp for each speaker
