hook up subs in my garage
i have an extra set of subs and an amp in my garage and i want to hook them up to the stereo in my garage for when im working on my car. i was wondering if this can be done. i have a 120v a/c inverter to 12vdc w/ 800 miliamps. is this ok to use to power the amp and then hook everything up that way? how easy is it to blow the speakers this way?

800 miliamps aren't going to supply an amp.
Your best bet is to get an old home audio receiver that will accept 4 ohm speakers.
