OK...opinions on this JBL setup...

I'd like to do a nice budget setup so this is what i'm seriously considering...

1 12 inch JBL GT120D (BTW what is the difference between the DVC and single 4 ohm version)? new to this stuff...
1 JBL 300.1 Amp

I will make my own custom box...Please let me know experiences and opinions on this equipment...sound quality too...an explanation on wiring it so that i will get full rms into the sub would be great too...

Thanks

jbl makes good solid affordable amps, not to sure about there subs, but sounds like a good low-bidget beginner system.

dvc isnt anymore superior to svc it just gives you more wiring options, so depending on what final ohm load youre looking for match your sub ohm load to the amp power output at the certain ohm load
