It could be the bose speakers, or just something that someone just put on.

no, k found out it is the bose system. But when i boguht the car only the 4x6s and 6x9s work. im guessing those must have been re-wired already cuz its running off a pioneer deck. how can i get the speakers in the kickpanels to work?" is it difficult to rewire speakers to the headunit or to an amp? basically i need info on what to do and would greatly appreicaite it. since the head unit and 4x6s and 6x9s work i dont wnat to put it back to the bose system. and dont car aobutthe back speakers. jsut wouldnt mind speakers in the kickpanals. any help is greatly appreciated

if you need to run an amp for kick speakers its not that difficult...you need:

power wire from your batt to the amp with a fuse as close to your batt as possible

ground from your amp to the chassis...make sure paint/dirt is sanded off the mounting area for the ground

rcas running from your head unit to the amp

then just the speaker wires from the amp to the speakes and you're set. Just set your amp gains etc
