quick questions about box volume
quick questions about box volume
Is the amount of space needed with the speaker in the box or with out it? meaning do you calculate the volume of the come and subtract it from box volume. Second if you run 2 subs do you have to divide the box and give them seperate volumes or can they share volume. for example, can you put two 1 cubic foot subs in a 2 cubic foot box? does any of this make sense? thanks for any help. rock on

usually it is a good idea to divide a box if you can because if one sub blows then the other sub will have twice the box space and the same power which could damage it. With a divider if one blows the other will play fine.
