best 4x10's money can buy

What are they best 4X10 speakers out there? They wilol be getting 40watts RMS each.

btw, I'm not posting to hear such replies as "4X10s suck" or "no matter what you get, they sound like a retard banging a blah blah blah..."

What do you plan on doing with 4x10 speakers?

Thirdgens stock have 6x9 in the rear and 4x6 in the front. There are exceptions, but why 4x10s?

i think you would be better off keeping the stock speakers and amplifying them. It might cost slightly more though

a 4X10 isnt a very effecient speaker, you wont get very accurate sound out of it just because of its odd shape. So i would think there isnt too much difference between stock and aftermarket speakers.

The only issue may be that the stock speakers are probably higher ohm rated then aftermarket ones. But as far as I have seen the selection of 4x10s is VERY limited...

i would hate to plug audiobahn but there 4x10's are ok, if you can find them they r better then the others, also why don't you just go get the the adapters that go from 4x10 to 6x9 for those older gm cars??

actually the space back there is VERY limited. So using the stock location you cant fit 6x9s in there.

I dunno why 4-10s are badmouthed so much. I had a stock pair in my 87 cutlass supreme and for factory them things bumped! LOL

Im just saying that the rear part where the 4-10s are isnt 6" long. Or at least my friends regal isnt. With the adapters do they hang down or something? Can you post a picture? My friend is interested in putting 6-9s in there. But hes got that dilema.

they go on a slight angle, metra makes the adapters, so find a car audio place that sells metra install hardware and they will have them
