MTX sub and amp questions

MTX sub and amp questions

i have a 91 camaro i have one10in mtx sub and a 200 watt mtx roadthunder amp i had my brouther hook it up but when he was finished all i heard was a lot of rumbling how can i fix this problem

All you hear is rumbling, or can you hear ur sub as well as rumbling, and by rumbling u mean static, interference?

sounds like u need to adjust the crossover section on the amp!!!

Is it motor boating (sounds like the sub is thumping)? If so you may have a bad ground or to small a power wire.
