Car speaker questions!

I have an 88 GTA and am wanting to upgrade the head unit and speakers. I have a Kenwood radio I bought at Best Buy for about $150. I have the Sirius Satellite radio hooked up as well. I love it! I want to put a Satellite radio in my wifes car as well. I figured I'd move my head unit to her car and get myself a better one! I have a Kenwood head unit picked out and I'll probably order it this weekend. Crutchfield has a deal where you can buy a Kenwood radio and get a tuner free. I plan to do that, and just put the new tuner and antenna on my wifes car. But I want new speakers as well. I have some Sony Xplod 6x9's in the back, and the stock speakers in the front. On the crutchfield site, it says there are speakers in the door as well. WTF? I've had my door panels off before and never saw speakers there. Can they be installed? What size should I get? Also, what speakers would you guys recommend? 2, 3, or 4way? I was looking at Kenwood speakers, Rockford Fosgate, and Polk. Maybe Alpine. Any input? I'd want the same brand of speakers all around. Thanks for any ideas! Matt

3rd gens didnt come from the factory with speakers in the doors. BOSE cars came with speakers in the kick panels. The rest had 4x6 speakers in the dash.
