what material is this?

trying to find some different material to work with and would like to know what this is?

Transmission: T-56
Axle/Gears: 9" 3.73 spool
black stuff is vinyl, clear is plexi and the red just looks like paint, the vinyl is wraped and rlled on to glue with a pattern under it forming a raised area with that pattern, like a piece of card board cut out in the ps2 logo or something like that, maybe mason board, that what i think every thing is, later.

so what possibly is the vinyl wrapped onto?

also what material does this look like? i'm finishing up the "beauty" part of my install and i'm not sure what the best material to use would be...

the sub with the charcoal gray carpet looks like a regular box with a top plate made out of wood, fiberglass, etc. covered in a viynl/leather material.

the vinyl/leather stuff is wrapped around a thin board or some flat board of something and put right over the trunk

honestly beyond the paint most of the cars expenses has been covered through sponsorships.....i just scored enough leather and vinyl to do the interior for free as well so it's more about my time then money.
