radio interference.....
well my stereo in my car comes in ok ... when its not running, but as soon as I start it up it comes in like $hit! I cant get a steady radio station,I have an MSD ignition and some other stuff that Im sure has alot to do with it,but my question is this...what do I buy thats not a huge amount of $$ to help me with this prob.? thanks in advance :hail:

Is it the stock radio or after market? If after market what’s the make and model? Is it just the radio or in the CD/tape too.

the aftermarket radio did it too,but I put in my Pioneer DEH 4500
and it still can hardly get a station to come in once the car is running,no the CD player works fine...

Check all the grounds in your antenna system. It’s not uncommon to have some corrosion start right under the antenna, at the car body. If the CD works well then it’s probably coming in from the antenna lead and not a power supply problem. Probably bad grounds.
