That sub box doesn't suck

I know many of you guys say that this kind of box is junk, but I hadn't had any trouble with my 87 Camaro that has one. I even had a Talon the slammed into the back of my car doing at least 45 last week, and it didn't do anything to the box. Personally, I think that if it gets to your house fine, then you should be ok... The Box

Just because you can run it over with a car, or drop it off of your house, doesnt make it a good box. not saying that it is a bad box, cause ive never used one, but.....

the box isnt great unless it matches the needs of your speakers and is built right... i.e., ported enclosures built correctly, cubic feet matching the needs of the speaker, the material its made of (hopefully 3/4"MDF), and so on. its not just the drop it on the ground and jump on it tests that make a good box. yeah its a good price but that doesnt mean its a good piece.

I tried buying a box like that off of ebay...

still waiting to hear from the seller. Its been 2 weeks, and 15 emails later...no response.

If I didn't already win that other box I would probably put a bid on this one here...but I wanna see if guy contacts me about the auction I already won.

Just because 1/2" particle board can withstand an accident doesn't mean it is the best material to build a subwoofer box out of.

Nylon could withstand an accident too, but I don't see anybody building boxes out of a bunch of seatbelts sewn together.

Those cheap boxes vibrate like a ***** with a new pair of D batteries in her favorite toy. The enclosures resonate, which reduces SPL and colors the sound.

lmao, it gets better every time...

What makes you think that the sturdyness of the box is the determining factor of how it sounds?
