might be a bit boring in the middle, its a shame you coudlt have molded a space for your amp and whatever else you have say a capacitator in there as well, that would look night..... you need someting in the middle... unless you plan on doing osmehting with it???

ill be putting an amp in the middle, or maybe a capacitor on a raised plexiglass platform.

Its not hard to do, just messy and alot of steps . Its easier to make a box and cover it with carpet because you dont have to sand as much.

Is that box for ontop of the gas tank? It looks like it would fit good in that spot.

I'll have to see it all installed before I could make a good assesment of it.
But from what I can tell - that looks bloody awesome! The contours and curves must've been awfully painful to do.

well for 10 hours of work that setup looks cool. Have you work with that material before?

The hardest part in making a fiberglass dash pad would be the curves in the dash pad (the ones right infront of you when your in the car).
Tech. i guess you could fiberglass right over an old cracked one, bondo and sand it smooth, paint it and clear coat it. Would shine like glass!
Btw i just finished a sub box/amp rack that sits in the bottom of the well. Even though i was outside with the fiberglass my head hurts SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad!!!! Fiberglass resin smells VERY bad!! Make sure you buy a GOOD mask! I've used fiberglass before but i dont remember it smelling so much.
BTW , id like to see a complete fiberglass dash for our cars since the ones gm made are nothing but cheapass thin plastic.
