Best Replacement for Stock Units

OK, sometime soon I want to replace all four of the speakers in my car. The rear two are aftermarket but are both blown (previous owner did this). What are some good companies for speakers that will fit on my car (91 Camaro RS) and aren't too expensive?

Sorry, I know this question probably comes up alot but I am a newbie to audio.

Their is stuff, but I don't know what it is, all I got is infinty. So I know that I recomend Infinty, but that is probably too expensive for you.

Yeah, I'm not trying to break the bank I just want some nice sound from all four speakers. The rear two are blown and nothing sounds good from just the front two. Thanks for the replies so far!

get the MB quart speakers. i think the 6x9's run about 100 online and the fronts are around 60. BEST sound, very very clear. only speakers ill run in my car are MBs. stay away from the common speakers if your looking for super clear sound. well worth the money

Check wally. A cheap solution I used in my tempo was Blaupunkt. I bought some 6X9's for 60$ and they are good for 200watts.

front even cheaper http://store.yahoo.com/csexpo/mbquart7.html

A sub makes a great addition to a system too.

I forgot! I have another question. The previous owner of my car (I had it now for 6 months) had a system in it. There are two tweeters still in the front but the system is gone now. But, there are two RCA plugs in the trunk of the car (red and black). What do are these supposed to go to? An amp, sub?

How does this $70 6x9 (2-way) compare the the $100 3-way you linked to?

http://store.yahoo.com/csexpo/dkmbquar6x9a.html

Is it the same except for the midrange? Without an amp (or subs), which would be the better choice?

Thanks,
Scott

even better, save's ya more money. You would'nt notice much difference between the two other than the $30, and like you said you dont have an amp of a sub so i'd go with the $70 ones.

They go to an amp. they should run up to the head unit also. Good thing to have ran already. Less work for you.

Yep.

I was going to order a set of those MB Quart speakers at $115, but shipping to hawaii is $62.... Screw that.

So which 4x6s slide into the dash without major hassle? Looking around the board it sounds like the ds on my 'bird will be hard to fit decent speakers into. i looked at JBL, pioneer and kenwood today, all affordable but hard to tell what will fit? Bought all new 14gauge wire and shielded cable for rear amp/subs today so while i'm in the dash thought i'd replace everything
Thanks
