my antenae does not roll down! it's been like that since i bought it, somebody told me it was the cable? what do you guys think? is there something i can do to make it work? any helpful hints? thanks for your time fellas'---jorge

The power antennas usually break; I replaced my power antenna with a regular black whip antenna for $15 from Strauss Auto. The cable inside is really just super-thick fishing line, and yes, it can crack. The motor can also burn out.
If you want to remove it to try and repair it, you need to pull the passenger tire off (for room). Remove the inner plastic fender. Then you'll be able to get at the upper & lower bolts that hold the power antenna in place.

There is a pink wire that connects to the radio harness and the ACC fuse supplies power to the power antenna relay located under the dash on the passenger side. Check those two items first. Here are the schematics if you need them.
