Alpine eject problem
Hello,
I posted earlier about an Alpine 9821 deck I'm looking to get, but it's for my father's vehicle, and I found out that he has an older 7856 model that he is having problems with.
Apparently it works well until you need to eject CD's, and won't eject them unless you give it a little massaging if you know what I mean
Anyways, I've read a couple others say this happens if the deck is in too tightly to the dash, but I haven't gotten a chance to take it out yet.
Anybody else had this problem? This deck is only coming 2 years old in June, so I'm wondering if Alpine might give me any help with it, or if I'm on my own on this one.

a bind on the front of it would affect it , pull it back out and make sure it slides back in the din sleeve freely .if you have ISO mounted it , make sure nothing is pushing on the top or bottom of the face.even tho' it is only 2 years old heavy dust , cigarette ashes /smoke can gum up a mechanism ,too.

Good luck getting alpine or a shop to fix it for an acceptable price.
If the eject motor is bad then you have 1 expensive radio w/o CD.
I've had a number of Alpines and they will do this, often intermit.
Take a pair of tweezers and wrap them with tape. Then while the mechanism is trying to eject the disc, yank it out w/ the tweezers.
I am assuming the eject motor is still making noise.
