Installation of 6x9s
i bought some infinity's 6x9 and the dude on the phone said that they were to short or something and had a 2/10th backspace that i could fill with a oval piece of wood or something to that effect?
i should of paid more attention

what series of infinity are they? Kappa,Referance or Kappa Perfect? I think whay he means is that the speakers are too deep for the hole, which they really shouldnt be. Pull the old ones out and put the new ones in the opening you should be fine. Jered

there reference 9603i its that their to shallow i guess and u need something backign the speaker?
i thought there was plenty of room so i kinda wasnt payin attention to him.

mounts? and seal it up with what like ???? i know ur answer is gonna be fiberglass but i have no idea how to use that stuff. any other ideas.

well i sucks cause i wanted the speakers to come today but THEY DIDNT...
and now im leaving till monday for campin...im pissed. ill just test'em and see what happens

seal it with dynamat or what ever you want..... fiberglass works but if you cant work it use what you can
