amp question

hey guys, i have a question it might sound kinda stupid but im not sure about it so i thought i would ask. Is it safe to put the amp under like a piece of plexi glass, or should i leave it out so it can get air?

It usually depends on the amp's tendancy to heat up.

I have seen many amps under plexiglass with no problems at all.

Unless it really heats up normally, you should be fine.

Typically, if you're going to put an amp under plexi, you need to find an alternate source for airflow. Usually when you see amps under plexi, they have built-in fans, or external fans were added, or both.
