sub mounting

Im trying to decide which way to mount my subs when i get them. I see some people with them normal and in a box but then I see some with the magnet outwards and the sone in the box. Are there and advantages to mounting it one way or the other?

just as much sound comes from the back of the cone as it does the front, so sonically there is no difference. some subs are very attractive from the back (chrome, etc) so aesthetically mounting reverse looks good. also, some enclosure designs with steep angles will provide the right airspace, but not the depth necessary for the drivers....

here's one I did recently:

good luck!
