they got me, they stole it

They finally got me after 2 trys of stealing the maro. somone tried to strong arm the club off the car but did not get it. they stole the base of the radio though. i have a detachable face that the did not get. why did they do this?

Anyway, i still have my face to the radio. is there a way i can still use my face on another base? I mean can it be programed to fit another radio without me having to buy a new face? Also, in the process of the burglary, they cut about 5 wires. will this be a big problem for the people to put back together and also can i do this myself. it really dose not look that bad, but i need a radio. one last thing, can a person still use that porsion of the radio they took without the original face?

well... most likely they took it because they were angry for some reason... also, if you had not registered your deck with the manufacturer, I believe they can Re-Order the faceplate for it... depends on what radio... from $20-150+... still a deal in their favor...

that's why you register your radio, then when they try and get the faceplate, sometimes the company will even get the other person arrested... like pretend they are gonna send the faceplate and stuff...

Without seeing the damage its hard to say, but the cut wires shouldn't be a problem to repair.
