Stupid question...but...

I should know this but help me out... im planning my system and im getting two 12" subs with dual 6ohm vc's. when i wire them i want as close to 1 ohm that i can.... the amp will be 2400watts RMS at 1 ohm bridged. the subs RMS ate 1000watts each.

the question is will i get 1.5 ohms from these subs when wired like this:

sub1: parallel voice coils should result in 3ohms for sub1
sub2 the same
so...

sub1 +sub2 in parallel = 1.5 ohms..... which would give around 2000 watts RMS output from the amp... am i wrong?
