92 CD Player

I have a factory cassette player in my camaro. I am wondering if a factory cd player for 1990-1992 will just bolt right in or does it need adapters?

Yeah, it's an easy drop in. There are however, quite a few high output aftermarket head units that are made to just drop with no mods/adapters as well. Pioneer makes a few models that are (taller) from the front. Just swap accros the mounting clips and plastic prong on the back. Then she just falls into place. You may, however, need an wiring and anttena adapter (I did).

Crutchfield is a good place to at least see what's out there. (Their kind of pricy)
