break in time for PG subs
Hey guys I installed my pair of TX10 PG subs. Im wondering how long I should play them at low volume to break them in. I cant wait to rip them open but I dont want to have something bad happen and I heard they sound better when broken in.

I'm of the opposite variety. once you know the install is done right, the box is correct and everything is setup correctly. open up on those bad boys, new or not.
very similar to my engine builder when we did my zed about 5 years ago. after the initial run-in on the engine stand to break in the cam etc...we installed it in the car and tuned the carb to run right.....then we took it for a "test run" to see how it drove. we weren't 2 feet from the curb before he mashes the throttle and cooks the tires all the way up the street (open header!). man I was scared.....
his comment - "if it doesn't take it now, it never will". I tend to think that applies to car audio as well.
