I'm just curious as to whether or not you're referencing this model: http://www.carstereo.com/classifieds....Serious%20SPL'ers%20only

As for a repair, some higher end subs have a kit you can buy that comes with a new cone and surround. I don't know if it would be available for your sub or not.

EDIT:

I stumbeled across a refrence to this last night. Here's a link: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...number=340-076

lol, I just tried fixing my fathers old 8" (we were going to throw it away anyway) with hot glue. The cone was separating from the spyder?? I think. haven't had time to test it yet though. Maybe its cuz I'm a little(100%) Polish

Sorry if that offends anybody

rubber cement or a flexible epoxy will work well to reattach the surround.

You can buy new surrounds, but it sounds like you just need to reglue yours.
