question about my cd player
when i turn my car off. the cd player resets like if the battery was disconnected everytime..but if i shut if off for like 30 sec and start it back up..its ok..but if its longer than that..its all at default settings..i dont know what it is.. any ideas?

ok ..yea..i forgot..theres the yellow and the red..rite? yellows like.constant..and reds switched? do i connect them? or seperate? im lost with the wiring the guy did on the car when he had it..its all jerry rigged..everythings spliced every place

Yellow is usually the constant (battery) one which will need to have 12v all the time, and the red will be switched through your ign/acc.
They should be separate, with the yellow hooking in somewhere that has constant 12v, like a wire for interior lights etc.

whoa wait a min... just use the factory radio wires... the car has a yellow constany hot for the radio and a red acc wire in it already... no need to splice into the lights
