85 audio setup

Ok I am looking for a good sound setup but im not good with it so maybe someone here can

I am a loud and pounding bass kinda guy but with clear sound

I have nothing but my sub and my deck picked out.....

a JVC sc500 receiver and a single 12 inch band pass box with plexiglass n 500 watt max, 250 rms clarion sub

any suggestions on the other stuff....ex. speakers, amps, running more subs?

and i have one amp right now but it isnt powerful its a 2 chan i blieve 2 by 50 so maybe i could run that on whatever front/rear speakers and then buy a separate for my sub

i know it might be a hassle but help would be appreciated

what kinda music you listen to? Cause with that bandpass box anything but rap/r&b is gonna soound like ***. They are not meant to play rock or metal, so if you listen to any of that i suggest a good sealed box. Remember this is just one mans thoughts so.....

Do it right...

Get kick panels, or have the doors built out for some real mids.

The 4x6 in the dash will never give clear sound.

Bandpass is poor solution. Are you going to put the box in the back seat? Why not use the well? T-Tops?

Are you building on a budget? For Rap/R&B I wouldn't choose a Clarion sub.

if the reciever is a regular din reciever you will need an install kit, also get a wiring harness both can be had at autozone or pep boys.

2nd you should probably get a sealed enclosure for crisper bass.
And the as for the sub i would say that i prefer audiobahn and they can be fond really cheaply online.

3rd- speakers: get component speakers and mount them in kick panels( if you are a handyman kinda dude you can make them outa fiberglass for cheap). you dont need any speaks in the rear cuz its more expensive and really unneccessary.

4th- id suggest an audiobahn amp (again can be found cheaply for high power online) my friend has an audiobahn amp and subs in his moms car and they sound awsome.

Subs: Audiobahn AW1200Q 700watts rms $110 http://www.cardomain.com/item/ABNAW1200Q

amp: Audiobahn a1300hct 600watts RMS $325 http://www.etronics.com/product.asp?...ct&svbname=403
