new speakers not sounding great
just replaced my old 6.5 rear speakers (convertible) with new 6.5 infinity 6002i's. The mids and highs sound clean but they have no bass. I'm not expecting bass from a 12" sub or anything :rolleyes : but I just want to know if anyone has had luck with dynomat or possibly any other suggestions (besides getting a sub).
I listened to them at Fry before I bought them and they sounded much better in the store. Maybe I reversed my pos and neg leads.

Bass from 6.5s in a convertable? Fat chance. That's like asking Rosie O'donell to win a marathon.
However, at the bare minimum, I would reverse the polarity of one speaker and compare the sound. If you have them out of phase, you'll really kill your bass.

i know it may be asking alot.
I'll try to reverse the polarity. I still have the stock GM wiring: dark blu and light blu on the driver side, and yellow and brown on the passenger. But I dont know which is which. I'll just switch and see. Thanks.
