just replaced my old 6.5 rear speakers (convertible) with new 6.5 infinity 6002i's. The mids and highs sound clean but they have no bass. I'm not expecting bass from a 12" sub or anything :rolleyes : but I just want to know if anyone has had luck with dynomat or possibly any other suggestions (besides getting a sub).

I listened to them at Fry before I bought them and they sounded much better in the store. Maybe I reversed my pos and neg leads.

 

Bass from 6.5s in a convertable? Fat chance. That's like asking Rosie O'donell to win a marathon.

However, at the bare minimum, I would reverse the polarity of one speaker and compare the sound. If you have them out of phase, you'll really kill your bass.

 

i know it may be asking alot. I'll try to reverse the polarity. I still have the stock GM wiring: dark blu and light blu on the driver side, and yellow and brown on the passenger. But I dont know which is which. I'll just switch and see. Thanks.
