It's quite an impressive sub, but I feel that there are equally impressive subs for far less money. That would include the Adire Brahma, RE XXX, Image Dynamics IDMax and some of the TC Sounds stuff. A lot of people also feel that the W6V2 has superior sound quality to the W7.

RE has distributers overseas, so they should be able to tell you who to buy from in your area so that you don't have to pay ridiculous shipping costs.

i emailed RE a lil while ago about the XXX 12" and will tell you what they say... im pretty sure by looking at the specs that one sub would be "devestating" in a thirdgen?

Yeah, you must be looking off bladeice.com that's one of the international sellers. But RE is actually based out of Nevada I believe.
Oh look for a turn around of about 2 to 3 weeks on emails. It's far easier just to call them. I was thinking a 15" was 435 shipped and the 12" XXX was 405 shipped. But I could be wrong cause I'm just pulling numbers off the top of my head. I think I have the prices for them somewhere on my pc at home. I'll try to track them down when I get home.

thats so damn expensive..... if i was going to spend that much id like to be able to have enormous bass with one sub. from what ive read the XXX give that possibility, am i correct?

Yes, the XXX's are very nice subs. One of my contacts on IM has a 15" XXX which was ran in a large ported box. He said he manage to hit a 150 db termlab with it in a blazer. Then he decided to put 2400 rms to it for some reason the cone excursion became so much it broke the leads.
Anyways there suppose to be loud and have sound quality. They compare to a brahma since they use the same motor structure.
RE is suppose to be working on a new sub that's gonna be killer too. Suppose to come out here soon (early this year). It's called the XMX. Rumors are it can be ordered as a SPL sub or a SQ sub. Look for it to weigh in around 100 lbs though and have a hefty price tag too (probably in the 600 dollar range or so).
Do some searches around google and you'll find tons of posts of different forums about the XXX's.
