here in pittsburgh (go steelers!!) most shops charge per hour and its between 25 and 40 dollars depending the installation type..... i just did all mine myself.... just find u a switched 12, constant 12 and good grnd... remember, keep power wires on one side and signal wires on the other... and u should be good to go....
yeah out here it's roughly 1800 a week which translates to 40-50 an hour for full custom work. just curious if it's a similar range everywhere else.

The places I worked in college charged $40/hr, but that was 8-10 years ago. I would be surprised if any good shops got less than $50-60/hr these days.
What's sad is that their installers probably only make 12-15/hr.
