My Head Unit Upgrade
My Head Unit Upgrade
Hello,
I am new to this board and just bought a low mileage 1989 Iroc-Z. I am really liking the car alot and look forward to learning alot of things from you guys. My goal is to make it as nice as possible while keeping the stock appearance. I have been searching for a newer head unit with a cd player to replace the cassette. The newer GM units appeared to be too grey as well as the buttons all being rounded. I came across some chrysler units from the late 90's/early 2000's that I thought would look perfect. I found one from a 2002 Jeep that didn't have a chrysler emblem on the face of it. Tell me what you guys think.

Well, I got mine outta my 1999 Dakota, it looks similar. It was a good head unit, but I wanted MP3's. But with the firebird comming back, the truck gets sold with the original radio. :P
That definately looks good in there man, great job.
