Subenclosures.com making a comeback
Hello all,
For those who remember, before I dropped off the face of the earth in November '03, I was making custom kick panels, enclosures, and other audio related stuff for 3rd gens.
So now that I'm back in the US I'd like to gradually get back into it. The website is still down for now. I'm going to start offering the MDF enclosure plan sets again at $15 per set shipped. The plans include detailed instructions, 3-D assembly pictures, and a full-size template for the top plate. I'm still working on the re-designed kick panels so they can be reproduced. They probably won't be ready for quite awhile.
I used to be considered a sponsor and allowed to advertise on this board. If that's changed, I'm sure the moderators will let me know

After the kick panels are going, I'll probably start working on a stealth design for the passenger side. The driver side design was small and expensive and didn't generate a lot of interest.

well rez i need a subbox for either side, i hate seeing the box and taking up the space. so i want one.

I'm curious, what 'sucked' about the Q-Logic kickpanels?
they are small sealed enclosures, are they not? or are they open to the car chassis?
the imaging looks very similar to all the custom one's I've seen, but the price is a bit steep for me.

I could start making driver side stealth boxes if somebody wants one, just PM me. They're 100% fiberglass, hold up to a single 10" and have .53 cu.ft. of airspace. It takes 3-4 weeks after payment to get it shipped out. The cost is $230 shipped. It sounds expensive, but if you've ever tried to make a sealed enclosure with 100% fiberglass (No MDF, grille cloth, etc.) then you'd understand.
The website will probably be up after the kick panels are ready. I'm expecting to start selling kicks again in early July.

hey rez what about a pass side one, and do you have pics of the drivers side one, ive only seen real old ones , do you have any updated pics of the drivers side. And on to the pass side, will it be able to hold a 12" sub?

The website will come back after I start getting some revenue from kick panels.
I'll try and dig up some pics of the driver side stealth box. I think I only have the ones that were posted to my site.
The passenger side version will be able to hold a 12" and probably have 1-1.25 cu.ft. I don't think that one will be ready for production until late summer or fall.

i was just thinking "what was the name of that site that sold plans for boxes?" i typed it in and it was not there, a search led me to this thread. glad to see you are back. so these stealth driver side boxes, does anyone have a picture or are they still in the planing stage?

I killed about 30 paper targets and 12 sheets of plywood at the range with the 50 cal, does that count?
The plans will hold 2 12's, but there's limited depth and only 2.12 cu.ft. of airspace. I followed the plans when I made my box, but just added 2" to the height all around and ended up with about 3cu.ft. The top of the box is just above the bottom of the storage box on the driver side, The box still opens for battery access

Yep definetly good to see you made it back. I still have your kickpanels you made for me back in 03. They are awesome they were black and matched my GTA perfectly. When i close my doors you can't even see them in there they blend in so nicely. Ive had lots of people ask where i got them, and they seemed interested in buying them. Ill recommend you anytime i get the chance.
