Will a 98-02 radio/cd fit in the radio slot, and fit the ThirdGen faceplate?
Thanks, Cocacolakidd.

A member here did it. Only minor modifications were necessary. I believe at the time he did it, he gave a play-by-play rundown that should give you all the info you need.

I searched and found a thread describing the install. The biggest obstacle was the AC/heater vents go through the rear lower area, and have to be cut out for the slightly larger Radio/CD to fit. I did not cut out the vents to fit as described, but used a steel bar approx 1” dia. heated to gently mold the vent plastic. I was able mold them inwards until the radio/cd cleared. Would have been neat to have the AC vents open in this area to cool the radio/cd, but I have a AC delete now - Oh well. Then again when the heater is blowing I felt it may over heat the unit somewhat, so the vents remain closed this way. Thanks every one for allot of help, Ed.
