i use a set of 10 inch w3v2. two in a sealed box. mic tested at 142.4 in my firebird with a memphis 1100D amplifier at 1ohm. i lvoe the subs. i recommend the 10s though actually. they are built the exact same way as the 12's are. no difference what soever. well size i guess. but thats it. great subs though. ive had mine for a lil over a year now

"there's no difference between 10's & 12's"??yes the 12w3's are a good line of subs, but i don't like jl (overpriced imo) but if u got the money and u wanna spend it on jl, more power to ya, they'll pound and sound good doin it.....

theres actually not a difference in how the 10 inch and the 12inch jl audio w3v2 subs are made. the 12's can hit a slightly lower frequency, but thats it. cone and structure are made/built the exact same. 10's are the better buy in my opinion with that particular sub.

I was also thinking that i might be able to get a w6 12 and use just one in a custum ported made box. and hope that sounds louder. and how did you get both sub wiered up on mono with a one ohm load with your memphis?

bridged them together when connected to the amplifier. negative all the way through, and possitive all the way through.

I have on 12W3v2 run off a Phoenix Gold Octane amp, and I love it. You're gonna feel it, I promise.
Just put in sound deadening, and I feel it that much more!
