Hey everyone, i just have a quick question reguarding the location of the stock amp in a 89 gta with the performance audio option.

i think it is under the dash near the ecm but im not sure, i just need the wisdom of others because i found a GTA in my area with the radio i want and im postive it has the performance audio option and i want to see if the owner would be willing to part with these things for some cash (the car is smashed and trashed...) so any help would be great.
my plan is to pay a visit to the owner, offer him some cash for the things i want (amp, rear speakers, and radio) see if he will part with them, and pull them out myself- i can get the radio and speakers fine, but i dont want to look like a dumbaass and take 30 min just to find the damn amp and bust stuff in the process...

 

argh... o well if im lucky i will find the time to go to a bone yard and disect a dead bird to find out where the amp is and pull the wiring harnesses...
