Can somebody please verify this?

This is my idea, please tell me if this is a good way to wire these subs. I would like to get 2 Kicker Solobaric 12" subs.

Frequency Response: 20Hz-100Hz
Efficiency: 87.4dB
Impedance: Dual 4 Ohm
RMS Power Handling: 750 Watts
Peak Power Handling: 1500 Watts
Mounting Depth: 6-13/16 Inch
Size : 12 Inch

So If I run both of these subs in parallel in a nice sealed box I would need a 2 ohm mono-amp and I could push 1500 Watts to the subs? does this sound correct? I wouldn't have any troubles or worries about the subs blowing due to poor wiring decissions or giving them too much power? Thanks

never look at max output RMS is what you want to look at.

The only usable ohm load u can create w/ those subs is 1ohm or 4ohm. Make sure u buy an amp that puts out it's most RMS power at either of those ohm loads. Of course, that would probably mean a 2ch Class A/B amp for a 4ohm load, and that would be problematic for that kind of power. So look for a Class D monoblock that is 1ohm stable and puts out about 1500WRMS into 1ohm.

U shouldn't blow the subs as long as the box is built properly, u set the amp's gain correctly, and u don't crank it up to the pt of distortion.

your best bet is looking for a decent 1 ohm stable amp..... a decent 2 ohm stable amp that puts out enough RMS power to give it what it needs at 4 ohms... would cost you an arm and a leg over the 1 ohm stable amp....
