finally got my system installed... pics inside

well ive had this stuff for a while and it has been hooked up for about a month but i finally had a day to not do anything so i finished hiding all the wires and got everything looking good. it is a sony 1200 watt amp and 2 10' infinity kappa perfect subs. it sounds pretty good i leave the bass on as low as it can go on the h/u for my regular speakers and i have the bass boost turned up on the sub. there are some annoying rattles on the outside of the car like the side mirrors and license plate but there arent any on the inside. any ideas on how to fix that? here are some of the pics let me know what you think.

no one has any opinions or suggestions? the only thing i dont like is the little bit of wires you see any way to hide that without building an amp rack?

ya. some junkyard might have a black shade so you can hide it...Or you could tint the windows if youre good at it.

maroon... a lot of people cut a whole in the carpet, and feed the wires through there..

my question, which I think is the most obvious... how'd you mount your amp?

I just lay my t-top bag over the amp at night, and my hatch covers up most of my speakers....

also I am always less than a minute from my car, and I have the two-way pager setup...

what helps me sleep is knowing that I have a 22 pistol waiting for someone to break into my car...

self-defense never felt so good...

i did use a hole that was already in the carpet i dont know what is was there for but i didnt cut it. i havent secured the amp yet but i am going to use velcrow. i have the pull out shade and i also have the t-top bag. in the pictures you can see i mounted those hooks on the sub box so i can still use my bag but i havent tried putting the t-tops in there yet i dont think i want the subs on with the bag there though....

For the license plate rattle, I use a couple strips of foam weather stripping. The mirrors I haven't figured out yet.

the bag won't hurt the subs, because you'd hear it way before you actually hurt the subs (by playing them loud enough to actually hit the bag...

which I doubt your subs can/will even move that far.

best thing ive seen to hide wires in a situation like yours is to make a little custom box thats the hight of the amp it will cover that side of the amp so try to make it match the amp as best as possible also toss some embems for your car on it for a nice touch ive seen it done on alot of cars.

turn the bass boost off, if that amp even puts out 1000 actual watts it shouldnt need any boost to throw those 10's. bass boost is mostly just distortion.

bass boost is worthless... unless your headunit cannot shape the sound very well..
