There's really no right answer here. The 2 10s will probably go a bit louder than the single 12", but other than that it really boils down to your preference. Listen to the 10s and the 12s and decide which you like the sound of better. Just remember that if you buy 2 10s, to get a pair of 8 ohm models so that you can parallel-wire them for a 4 ohm load. If you get the single 12", get a 4 ohm model.

I can definately think of other subs I'd spend $109 on though.

Just as a word of caution, I did a bit of searching and I think they're a typo on Best Buy's page under "Product Details" Everywhere else I look states that this amp can only make 380W x 1 Bridged @ 4 ohm. The 760W spec looks like a peak number.

There's no misprint. This is right off of BB's page:

760W peak power, bridged

380W RMS (continuous) x 1 @ 4 ohms, bridged, 10Hz - 50kHz, 0.008% THD

Anyway, as long as we're pulling that amp apart, allow me to suggest these alternatives:

http://www.cardomain.com/item/KIC04KX35022 This kicker is rated at 350 bridged, but I'd be willing to bet my corn flakes that it is significantly more powerful than the Pioneer.

or for a couple more bucks, http://www.cardomain.com/item/ROC4FRP5002

I would personally go with the pair of 10s if chosing between Infinity's subs. I'd probably go with one 10 and try to stealth it in the rear compartment or something. I like Infinity's 10" better than their 12".

Like Jim said though, you could do some hunting around with that price range.

Also, is that amp definate, ie have you already purchased it? I too would recommend looking at other subs, particularly an Image dynamics IDQ. These subs are overall great subs, very nice SQ and get pretty loud for their modest power specs. And, unless there is a trust issue or something, I would search eBay for your gear and use stores just to listen. http://www.imagedynamicsusa.com/page.php?page=locator
Another possibility would be a kicker CVR, wont get the SQ but probably a little bit more SPL, a good buddy of mine picked one up for $70 shipped on eBay
Im just not overly impressed by infinity's cheaper models

A while back, I dealty with acaraudio.com and was pleased. You can check this CVR out: It's a 4 Ohm DVC and you could wire a pair of these to a 4 ohm total load:

http://www.acaraudio.com/product_inf...roducts_id=206

Of course, this is $99.00 before shipping. Probably about $15/each to ship.

Now, etronics.com has 4 ohm SVC CVR10's, but these wouldn't work well with that amp. One really good 10" may be better than a pair of 12's...when I had a pair of 10's they sounded better when listening to metal than compared to dual 12's.

my prob is , it has to be in driving range , i dont wanna buy subs off ebay , casue if they dont work i can go to were i bought it , i have to wait for a responce over the PC , i picked the infinity's cause there in driving range and were what i thought , better subs from the store , right now i got a pair of free subs that came with my amp them free amps specs , i am using them (dont even have my box in or these yet) for a temp pair , till i can get the other ones (car seems to be having some engine probs so i am waiting to see if this is gonna cost me an arm before i focuse back on my stero) , this is the first steero i went out and bought an amp , so its more or less gonna be a trial and error for me

Right in Troy there's a dealer that sells Arc stuff, which is very good stuff. I'd check his stuff out. I'd rather have Arc subs over Infinity subs.

Arc amps are very good too.

I'm an Infinity guy myself, you won't be disappointed if you go with them. There are options though.
