is it possible to build a sub and amp box out of the rear trunk hatch area. What is the sound quality like, does it work?

what do you mean "out of the trunk hatch area"? Do you mean build it somewhere else? If so, of course it's possible, but the sound quality will be lacking due to reflected cancellation. The closer the woofer is to the rear (or front) of the car, the less cancellation you'll encounter.

i built a very nice sub box, enclosing my 3 10 kicker comps in the back hatch, had them pointed slightly to the front, angled.. and the quality was amazing.. the sound even more.. hollyyyy crap. cool thing was.. you barely heard it outside, but you heard it for sure inside the car. was kinda nice, & worked great.

What are the specs for the subs, on the box it should tell you how much air space those subs give out, for a box
