switch factory amp w/aftermarket?

Hey everyone, I already ran a search and found nothing so I just have a quick question

Can I replace the factory amp under the dash in my gta with a small aftermarket amp? - maybe run that one under the seat. . .I have the factory 4x6's and sub and all that

I'm sure you could, but don't expect much gain in terms of sound quality. You're going to need a line level converter or an amp that can accept speaker level inputs.
