How did U guys power your Sat Radio?

I bought myself a sat. radio yesterday and the only thing I don't like is that it came with a Cigarette plug to power it and I don't want to use it. Is there anyway to power it without seeing the wire? Are there more than just the cig lighter power plug available?

I cut the end off and routed the wired behind the dash and it comes out above the radio. Put in a relay for the amp turnon circuit and now it only turns on with the radio.

I dunno if I would cut the end off, but you might be able to find one with a plug to plug in your fuse box.

I would go with 9177's suggestion.
There aren't any that I've come accross that plug into the fuse box....
But yeah, just cut the end off and hardwire it into the powersource.

Which one did you get? I just unscrew the caps, and run a wire around the metal piece over top of the fuse, and then screw the cap back on. For the ground, I just wrap a wire around the ground on the adapter. Make sure you tape it up. This way, you're not destroying the adapter incase you decide to sell it or use it elsewhere. Splice those wires in with your acc and ground wires on the radio harness and you're good to go.
