How many amps for 2 type e subs

I bought 2 Alpine 12" Single-Voice-Coil 4-Ohm Subwoofers, and one Alpine 700W Class D Bridgeable Mono MOSFET Amplifier. I was wondering if i should get another amp, one for each sub. I'm only doing this once and want it to be right.
the amp spec's are as follows;

700W peak output @ 2 ohms, bridged
200W RMS (continuous) @ 4 ohms

Subs;
Continuous Power Handling 200W
Peak Power Handling 600W
Impedance 4 ohms

The 700 is peak at 2 ohms, and they are single voice coil 4 ohms.
Will 2 be safe/louder?

do you know the what kind of rms the amp will put out at 2 ohms? cause i'd say just wire the subs to 2 ohms and run it that way.

hmm.. you'd probably want to either get another amp, or sell your current one and go bigger if you want to stay single amped. generally i like to feed my subs a little more than their rms rating, just to make up for power loss and the fact that amps aren't 100% efficient.

I would sugest against another alpine amp mainly due to cost.

Here are a few sub $200 amps that all put out some pretty good power (around 1,000 watts).

Another option is a NINe.2x or a NINe.1 from ED.

Nothing wrong with having extra power on tap, just be careful with it.

oxiderush, that wouldn't happen to be the alpine mrp-m350?

I'm looking to buy an mrp-m350, so if you have that and you want to move onto another amp, let me know.

Another option for you, If you go to pricegrabber.com, I found an mrp-m350 for $140, with shipping and tax. Instead of buying a new single amp, try buying a second mrp-m350, and each sub will have its own amp, at 200 rms @ 4 ohms.

Actually, i know someone who works at best buy and I got it for $110.00, so buying another one isn't a big deal.
The amp is the m350. Really like keeping it all alpine. If price is the only downfall, that i'll get another one.

And no, i can't get anything for anyone else. It was hard enough to get him to buy my stuff.
