Anyone know how to remove Dynamat?

Hey everyone,
I am painting my 91 RS Vert. About 3 years ago, I put dynamat extreme on the bottom side of the trunklid. Well, now I want to paint there. Does anyone know how to get this stuff off?

Thanks,
Mark B

mask it off and paint around it is my suggestion, unless it would survive being painted without any problems. Then I'd just paint it.

I've tried to remove Dynamat Extreme before... you're better off buying a new hatch!

You could probably work it with a heat gun and a putty knife. I suspect the mess that would be leftover would be significant.
