i have a panasonic too. mine wouldnt read CD's while under way. the problem is that there is no read ahead buffer. this reciever relies on a spring tray to stop it from skipping. if you read the installation instructions, it says that it needs to be installed at less than 30 degrees down from the horizontal. your TA dash is closer to 45 degrees. its gonna take some serious rigging to get it to 30. took me two days of fabricating.

SaintedCorrupt, did that solve your problem? I haven't worked with enough panasonic to say just how sensitive they are to odd ball angel installations. But defiantly possible.

it works normally now. Takes forever to read an MP3 CD, but plays normally and doesnt skip unless i hit a pothole or something equally jarring that you would expect any CD player to skip from.

upgrade to an ipod and an FM transmitter. zero skipping and WAY more song capacity.
