Amp Shuts Down
Ok, the other day my amp shut down for a few minutes and then came back on. I had it working really hard, it was really hot out and I accidentally put a bag on the amp. So I figured it got too hot and shot down. Didn't do it again until the other day. It was shutting down and then comming back on. Stopped again now it shut down and wont come back on. The power light blinks. So I know its getting power. I checked all the fuses and they're good. Any ideas as to why the power light blinks? Is my amp dead? Its a Pioneer 760amp BTW.

If it was a bad ground the light wouldn't blink would it? Its located in the back on top of the fuel tank. Had it like that for a while and never had a problem. Just started having problems.

i had a problem like this when i used a positive wire with a push in type fuse. the fuse looked fine, but it was actually blown. happened two or three times over the course of a few years. if you have a push in fuse positive, replace the fuse. might work
