easy stereo install question

I have an Alpine cd/MP3 player CDE-9845. I have all the wires hooked up but 2. I have one blue and white wire that is for the "remote turn-on lead" is this wire for the amp??? if not what do I hook that one to. the other wire is a bigger yellow wire, this one is "Battery Lead". can I just hook this one to a spot on the fuse panel that says battery??? I assume this is for the memory? thanks in advance for any help guys!!!!!!!

Blue/white wire, most often referred to as the 'remote' wire does the duty of turning off/on your amps when the deck goes on or off.

The yellow wire goes to a constant +12v source, this has to have power even when the car is off or you will be resetting your clock every time you get in... Just make sure the red wire is to a switched source so the deck will turn off with the car!
