amp problem

Axle/Gears: 3.23
amp problem

i just got an amp from a friend and it worked fine when I got it. It is a 1200W max xplod and I was playin it one day and a protection light when red and it has the word offset above it. What does offset mean? thanks

Try disconnecting the power wire and remote wire (not the ground) for a min. if that doesn't help, get something other then a Sony. Offset means one side ('push' or 'pull') of one of the amps (right or left) is pulling considerably more current then the other. Could be cause by several things. Sony sucks.
