done for now besides porting
here is a link to my box carpeted and my new amp 1991 Chevrolet Camaro - Josh's Chevrolet
but i got a round port for it so i have a question of were to put it should i put it inbetween the subs or in the very front of the box firing toward me? I think the best spot for it would be inbetween the subs but that is me. please give me some suggestion on were i should put the port, and on how you think it looks carpeted.

going to need to know the recommended port specs for those woofers. i dont know how much air they move, but i know for my 2 12's, i needed 2 18 inch, 4 inch diameter flared ports for a 30 hz tune with a 4.2 cubic ft box. it looks like your top section is only about 10 inches, and i can guarantee you dont have enough depth between your subs. only thing i could think of is to maybe have 2 ports firing to the side.

well, just because your cousin had that port with those woofers, doesnt make it ideal by any means. are those old school jl w3's? tell us what they are, and we can tell you how to make them sound good.

i looked on jls website and it recommends 1.25 ft per woofer for a sealed 15, and 2.25 each for ported. it recommends 2 21 inch 3 inch ports, but doesnt say what tuning that is for.

how are you going to check the frequency of your car? if i remember correctly its in the mid 40s. honestly, being over 3 times larger than the recommended enclosure, no matter what you do its probably going to sound really boomy and not take much power.
